ANOTHER NEW INDUSTRY EXPANDING TO THOMASTON

THE THOMASTON-UPSON IDA APPROVED A CONTRACT FOR ANOTHER NEW INDUSTRY, MONDAY.

ACCORDING TO DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR KYLE FLETCHER, CROWN TECHNOLOGY OF WOODBURY WANTS TO EXPAND ITS OPERATION TO THE FEDERAL PAPER BOARD COMPANY BUILDING ON POPLAR DRIVE, A BUILDING DONATED TO THE IDA IN DECEMBER BY BUSINESSMAN SCOTT BLACKSTOCK.

PROPOSED SALE PRICE OF THE BUILDING AND SITE IS $800,000, NO WORD ON THE NUMBER OF NEW JOBS OR INVESTMENT. THE DEAL COULD CLOSE IN 60 DAYS.
