UPSON S.O. CAN TRACK DEMENTIA PATIENTS

THE UPSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IS LAUNCHING A NEW PROGRAM CALLED OPERATION LIFE-SAVER. SGT. NEIL SANDERS TOLD THOMASTON KIWANIS TUESDAY THE S.O. ISSUES A WRIST BAND RADIO TRANSMITTER TO FAMILIES FOR DEMENTIA PATIENTS TO WEAR THAT CAN TRACK THEM IF THEY GO MISSING.


THE COST IS $250 PLUS $5 PER MONTH FOR BATTERIES.
