WHAT WAS BELIEVED TO BE A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT BETWEEN TWO CARS TUESDAY AFTERNOON IN NORTHSIDE TURNED OUT TO BE A TEEN WITH A PISTOL THAT DISCHARGED-- AND SHOT OUT ANOTHER CAR WINDOW ON RICOCHET. THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF MIKE RICHARDSON SAID THE 19 YEAR OLD FACES CHARGES IN THE CASE.
TEENS OCCUPIED TWO CARS IN THE PARKING LOT OF LA FIESTA RESTAURANT ON 19 NORTH WHEN THE INCIDENT HAPPENED. AN EMPLOYEE OF THE RESTAURANT APPARENTLY HEARD THE GUNSHOT AND NOTIFIED POLICE WHO PUT A LOOKOUT ON A TOYOTA RAV4 THAT WAS PULLED OVER NEAR FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. SEVERAL TEENS INSIDE WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE PD FOR QUESTIONING. A REAR WINDOW WAS SHOT OUT IN ANOTHER BLACK CAR THAT WAS IN THE EATERY PARKING LOT IN NORTHSIDE.
