DART COMPANY SENT A MANDATED W.A.R.N. NOTICE TO THOMASTON MAYOR J.D. STALLINGS ANNOUNCING THE PERMANENT LAYOFF OF 84 PERSONS EFFECTIVE MARCH 9, AND STANDARD TEXTILE IS MOVING ITS SHEETING OPERATION TO UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA , BUT THE THOMASTON PLANT WILL REMAIN OPEN WITH PLANS TO HOPEFULLY INCREASE THE WEAVING OPERATION-ACCORDING TO IDA DIRECTOR KYLE FLETCHER.
