BPD REPORTS A SHOOTING MONDAY

On 4/11/2022 approximately 1730, officers responded to a shooting that had occurred on Mill Street. The initial investigation found that Danarre McDowell had fired upon a vehicle travelling on Mill Street, hitting it twice. No one in the vehicle was injured. McDowell was taken into custody and the rifle was taken as evidence. The case is still under investigation trying to determine the cause for the incident.
