D.A. COKER APPOINTED SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE

GOVERNOR  BRIAN  KEMP  HAS  APPOINTED  DISTRICT  ATTORNEY  BENJAMIN  COKER  OF  THOMASTON  TO  THE  NEW   5TH  SUPERIOR  COURT  JUDGESHIP  IN  THE  GRIFFIN  CIRCUIT.

D.A COKER   TOLD   101 NEWS HE  LOOKS  FOWARD  TO  CONTINUING  TO  SERVE THE   CITIZENS OF  THE  GRIFFIN  CIRCUIT.

WHEN HE IS  SWORN-IN AT THE  STATE CAPITAL HIS  CHIEF  ASSISANT D.A. MARIE  GREENE  BRODER WILL  ASSUME  THE POSITION OF INTERIM  DISTRICT  ATTORNEY  UNTIL  THE  GOVERNOR  APPOINTS  A  PERMANENT D.A.

JUDGE-APPOINTEE COKER  SAYS  HIS  OFFICE WILL BE  IN  THE  UPSON  COUNTY  COURTHOUSE.
