The first is a four part series reprinted from the book “Moonshine Mayhem” by Marlene Womack. We will publish one of the articles each week for the next four weeks.
It gives a detailed story of C.V. (Jim) Grimes, a real, old-time moonshiner from Upson County that led a very interesting life and eventually settled in Bonifay, Florida.
