ACCORDING TO THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF DAN GREATHOUSE AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF A FEMALE CAB DRIVER, EARLY WEDNESDAY.
THE SUSPECT, DANTAZIAS JAMAL RAINES, 17, FROM THOMASTON , WAS ARRESTED AT HIS HOME, DECEMBER 24, BY THOMASTON P.D. AND THE GBI. WARRANTS AND OTHER CHARGES ARE PENDING WHILE RAINES IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND IN THE UPSON COUNTY JAIL.
THE VICTIM, BRANDY TURNER GUINED ,33,WAS THE CITY CAB DRIVER, SHOT NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF AVE. N. AND THIRD STREET, AND SHE MANAGED TO DRIVE ABOUT A QUARTER OF A MILE BEFORE RUNNING OFF THE ROAD INTO A FENCE AT 7-11 GROCERY.
